IGNet Network
Since 2010, first as an informal network and then as a European-level Association, InformaGiovani coordinates IGNet, a European network for participation, volunteering and inclusion, which today has 23 members in 20 countries. All members promote volunteering and information to strengthen social cohesion and democratic engagement in society, as well as active citizenship, intercultural understanding, solidarity, empowerment and citizen participation in community life.
As a network, our daily work and efforts are aimed at adolescents, young people and adults, as well as social workers, educators and grassroots organisations working in the field of participation and inclusion.
Particular attention is paid to citizens in disadvantaged socio-economic and cultural situations, such as those living in peripheral or rural areas, ethnic and cultural minorities, migrants, young people with disabilities or in conflict with the law.
IGNet is recognized by the European Union under the Erasmus+ and the CERV Programmes and co-funded under the CERV for the period 2026-2028.
